Historical story of place: There is no need to talk about the history of Zayd's family and what they were known for because this was discussed in the section of Sa'se'eh (his brother).  Zayd was among the Prophet's best companions.  His loyalty and love for both the Prophet and Imam Ali was noticeable.  The Prophet (pbuh&hf) predicted his death and said that he will be killed in a battle and his hand will be cut.  This became true and Zayd actually died in the Battle of Jemel with Imam Ali (a.s.).  Imam Ali came to him and and sat beside his head and praised his actions and good deeds.  Zayd also said to the Imam that his heart would always be with Imam Ali.  This was Zayd, the loyal companion of Imam Ali.  He currently has 2 mosques by his name, in Bahrain and in Kufa, Iraq.
