Historical story of place:  Once  there was  a king who  was an  enemy of Shia's in Bahrain.  He had  a  counselor  that hated Shia's even more than him and was always thinking of ways to erase  Shia  trace  from Bahrain.  One day while  returning home,  an  idea  came into  his  mind.   He would create  a  metal  mold, carve  in  it  the  following sentence: "La Ilah Illa Allah, Mohammed Rasool  Allah, Abo Bakr  was Omar wa Othman wa Ali  Kholefa'a  Allah", and   then  place  the  mold  around  a  very  small pomegranate (Rommaneh) so that when  it  grew  and  became full size, it would have the carving  on it.  After  weeks, and  after  the pomegranate had   turned  full  size, the   counselor   removed   the   mold  and  came  to the king with a very big smile on his face saying: "Oh  king, look what I have found in the garden of my home.  This  is no  doubt a  message from Allah  that  Shias  are our enemies.  The  king  was amazed and therefore called in  all  the  major  Shia  thinkers and gave them 3 choices: 1) They would pay taxes like Christians or Jews because they were not considered Muslims any more, 2) All of them  would  be  killed, 3) They would have to convince the king that they were right.

The Shias chose  the  3rd  option  and  asked  of  the  king 3 days to get an  answer.  All  the  Shias  met  with  each  other  and  chose  10 of the highest ranked thinkers (olema'a) to go to the desert and ask Imam Mahdi for  an  answer.  Because  they  only  had  3 days, 3 people were chosen from the 10.  One the 1st  night, the  1st  A'lem  went and wept for Imam Mahdi but to no avail.  The 2nd night, the 2nd A'lem went but still nothing happened. On the 3rd night, Mohammed  Ibn  Isa  Al-Demistani  went and wept and prayed to Imam Mahdi.  As he was crying, a  man  came to  him and asked him: "What  is  your  problem? Is  there  any  way  I  can  help you?".  Mohammed  Ibn  Isa  said:"My  problem doesn't concern you, I am asking of Imam Al-Hojjeh to solve it  for me".  The  man  said: "I am Imam Almahdi  and  I  know  what  your  problem  is  and  I  have  the answer.  Tomorrow, go  to  the counselor' house, enter this room, in the room  you will see a  cupboard, open  it, and on this shelf you will see a basket, and in it  there  will  be a  mold.  Another answer is that when you break open the pomegranate, you will see sand in it".

The next day, Mohammed Ibn  Isa  happily  goes to the king  and tells him that he has the answer and  it lies  in the  house of  the  counselor.  The counselor was shocked and afraid and tried  to  con the king not to come to his house except after the counselor went  and  arranged  everything.  Mohammed  Ibn  Isa  said: "If  the  counselor  enters his house before us, then we have  no  solution  to the  problem".  After going there together, Mohammed Ibn Isa showed the king the mold and the sand in it.  The king was amazed and  became a Shia  saying "Ashedo Anneh la  ilah  illa  Allah, Mohammed rasool  Allah, Ali  Walee  Allah".  The  counselor  was killed and from that time Shias had freedom in Bahrain and were able to  accomplish many things and expand.
