Historical story of place: Shaikh Maythem has a very well known story.  One day, he decided to go to Iraq to visit the shrines of the Imams.  There, he decided to wear shaggy clothes and go into a school were many scholars were studying.  When he greeted them they didn't reply and then when they brought food they didn't invite him.  However, later on, they were stuck on a question and Shaikh Maythem gave them 8 superb answers to their dilemma.  They did not appreciate this and ignored him.

The next day, Shaikh Maythem went to the same place wearing the best clothes and a big Amameh (cloth which is wrapped around the head) looking excellent.  When he entered they all stood and greeted him and kissed him and made him comfortable.  They then starting talking in religious things and Shaikh Maythem gave them illogical answers.  They all agreed to his logic and praised him.  It was when they brought food that Shaikh Maythem told them:

Yesterday I came in shaggy clothes and gave you excellent answers to your inquires and you ignored me and now I came in my best clothes but gave you stupid answers and you praised me!!!  So they admitted their mistakes and learned from this most educated Shaikh.
